Delhi Police arrested five individuals linked to a cyber fraud network that used fake traffic challan SMS and reward apps to scam over ₹10 crore. The accused sent phishing messages via a foreign app, earning ₹1-3 per redemption. The investigation began after a victim lost ₹2.21 lakh in November 2025. The probe traced the crime to Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, involving an app called "Wingo Cash" that sent multiple phishing SMSs automatically.
