First Russian Diesel from Putin-Trump Deal Heads to US

The first shipment of Russian diesel oil bound for the US under a recent agreement between Moscow and former President Donald Trump is en route to New York. The Malta-flagged tanker Agioi Fanendes loaded 40,000 metric tons of ultra-low sulfur diesel at Russia's Primorsk port on October 22. It is expected to arrive in the US on November 7, marking the first Russian diesel import since the 2022 US ban.
