TechnologyFirst 100-Metre Steel Bridge Launched for Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train
A 100-metre-long steel bridge weighing 1,405 MT has been launched over NH-3 at Dive-Anjur village in Bhiwandi, Thane district, Maharashtra, for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project. It is the first steel bridge completed in Maharashtra for this project. Fabricated in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, the bridge was transported 1,300 km and assembled on site. Of 28 planned steel bridges, 16 are completed.
