Fire in Mumbai high-rise hospitalises three, including two children

A fire broke out on the 23rd floor of the 25-storey Royal Altezza building in Ghatkopar East, Mumbai, on November 6, 2026. Three people, including two children, were hospitalised with burn injuries. The fire, suspected to be caused by a short circuit, was brought under control with no fatalities. All patients are reported stable, including Sainath Awale with 27% burns and Nirav and Rajesh Lodaya.
