FIR Filed for Posters and Graffiti at Delhi's Shivaji Stadium Metro

A second FIR was registered on October 24 at IGI Airport Metro police station after graffiti and a poster were found on walls at Shivaji Stadium Metro station in central Delhi. The case was filed under the Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Property Act and Metro Railways Act. The defacement was reported by station controller Uday Shankar Arya and removed after documentation.

Delhi HC refuses to stay probe into journalists accused of casteist remarks on ACP...

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday declined to stay the investigation into two journalists accused of making casteist remarks against ACP Vivek Bhagat. The journalists allegedly humiliated the officer and obstructed his duties during an October 3 protest. Justice Mini Pushkarna said the investigation cannot be stayed without reviewing the Delhi Police's status report. The court issued notice on the petition seeking quashing of the FIR against the journalists.

Cyclone Arnab: Odisha closes schools in six districts, reschedules OCS exam

Due to Cyclone Arnab, Odisha has ordered the closure of schools and Anganwadi centres in Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, Koraput, Rayagada, and Nabarangpur districts starting October 27. In Khordha, schools will close from 1 PM on October 27 through October 28. Teachers must remain on premises with roster duties to manage cyclone impact. The OCS Mains exam has been rescheduled as a precaution.
