FIIs Sell Rs 13,000 Crore in Indian Financial Stocks in September
Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) sold Indian financial stocks worth Rs 13,000 crore in September, marking the fastest sell-off this year. The selling intensified to Rs 6,121 crore amid RBI rate hikes affecting equities. On October 8, FIIs net sold Rs 12,944 crore while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 10,703 crore. FPI selling continued into October with Rs 31,000 crore withdrawn in four sessions.
