Federal Judge Halts Trump DC Golf Course Work Until October 26
A US federal judge has ordered a halt to tree-cutting and other work at Washington's historic East Potomac Golf Course until October 26. The order follows a dispute over the removal of hundreds of trees at the public park, which President Trump plans to convert into a major golf venue. Judge Ana Reyes issued the order after questioning the government's handling and lack of proper notice. The DC Preservation League filed the lawsuit challenging the renovation.
