Farmers’ March Enters Dharwad, Await Centre and State Response

The Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha and Hasiru Sene's padayatra demanding fair sugarcane prices and other farmer demands entered Dharwad district on Sunday. Despite Chief Minister D K Shivakumar's efforts to end the protest, talks failed, and the march continued. On day five, the march reached Guledakoppa near Dharwad. Farmers gave the Centre and state another deadline to meet their demands, including a minimum support price for sugarcane.
