Ex-minister Indranil Sen transferred ₹30 lakh to Mamata: ED

The Enforcement Directorate stated that former West Bengal tourism minister Indranil Sen, accused of financial irregularities related to Durga Puja, transferred ₹30 lakh to then Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as royalty. Over ₹3.8 crore was deposited into Sen's and his firm Octave Records' accounts during his tenure. The Trinamool Congress denied the allegations, calling them politically motivated. ED recently questioned Sen and searched multiple premises linked to him.
