Ex-BJP MLA Yatnal Booked for Forging Voter Deletion Documents in Karnataka

The Jal Nagar police in Vijayapura have registered an FIR against expelled BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal for allegedly creating a false death certificate to delete a voter's name from the electoral roll during the Special Intensive Revision exercise. Complainant Abdul Razak Bhagawan accused Yatnal and a booth-level agent of submitting forged documents to remove his name from the Bijapur City constituency voters' list.
