PoliticsEx-acting Rajasthan CJ Denies Corruption Allegations by SC Judge
Sanjiv Prakash Sharma, recently retired acting chief justice of Rajasthan High Court, denied corruption allegations made by Supreme Court judge Justice Sandeep Mehta. Sharma called the claims "completely fabricated" and motivated by "personal jealousy." He suggested professional rivalry as the cause, noting both were elevated as senior advocates in 2011, but Mehta allegedly blocked his elevation to chief justice.
