Europe’s Proba-3 and India’s Aditya-L1 Jointly Observe Early CMEs
For the first time, Europe’s Proba-3 and India’s Aditya-L1 spacecraft have jointly observed the early stages of coronal mass ejections (CMEs) from the Sun. Bengaluru scientists noted one solar eruption traveling at 645 km/sec and another at 145 km/sec. This collaboration enhances understanding of the Sun’s violent eruptions and gives ISRO a solar research advantage.
