Essar Ports Wins ₹2,276 Crore Tuna Tekra Terminal Project in Gujarat

Essar Ports Ltd has been awarded a ₹2,276.06 crore contract by Deendayal Port Authority to develop a multipurpose cargo terminal at Tuna Tekra, Kandla, Gujarat. The project will be executed on a build, operate, and transfer (BOT) basis under a public-private partnership. Essar Ports will invest ₹1,552.57 crore, and DPA will invest ₹723.49 crore. The terminal will handle 18.33 million tonnes annually with four 300-metre berths.
