Erumely-Sabarimala Trek Route Prepared for Pilgrim Rush

With the Sabarimala pilgrimage season starting in just over two weeks, the Forest Department has prepared the traditional trekking route from Erumely by clearing paths and installing basic facilities. Work includes prefabricated toilets, service centers, and a police camp at Kalaketti. About 90 service centers will be set up to Kalaketti and 194 more along the remaining stretch, including six medical aid centers.
