EPFO launches WhatsApp service to check PF details and auto-settle accounts

Union Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya launched a WhatsApp-based service for EPFO subscribers to check PF balance, passbook details, and recent transactions. The verified chat also provides guidance on Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana. Additionally, an automatic settlement facility for eligible inoperative EPF accounts was introduced to reduce office visits and simplify access.
