Embraer-Mahindra Plans Nagpur Assembly for 80 Aircraft Deal

Embraer and Mahindra Group are preparing to establish a manufacturing and support hub in Nagpur if they secure a contract to supply around 80 medium transport aircraft (MTA) to the Indian Air Force. The plan includes setting up an assembly line for the C-390 Millennium, replacing older Soviet-era AN-32 and IL-76 planes. Airbus A-400M and Lockheed Martin C-130J are also contenders in this deal.

The victim, Karan P, was contacted by a fraudster posing as a GM Fincorp representative who falsely claimed to improve his low CIBIL score. Between December 2025 and July 2026, Karan transferred the money as processing fees and other charges. Police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation.
