Election Commission Announces Special Electoral Roll Revision in 6 States

The Election Commission announced a Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls in Arunachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Mizoram, Odisha, and Sikkim. The exercise aims to enroll eligible voters, especially young and first-time electors, and accept advance applications for those eligible by April 1, July 1, and October 1, 2027. Draft rolls will be published on November 30, with final publication on January 21, 2027.
