Election Commission Allows Voters in 7 States to Rejoin Deleted Voter Lists

The Election Commission has decided to give voters in seven states—Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana, and Nagaland—a chance to rejoin the final voter list if their names were deleted under the ASDD category (Absent, Shifted, Dead, Duplicate) in the SIR process. BLOs will visit homes and provide enumeration forms online and via WhatsApp for this purpose.
