Elderly Woman’s Land Restored After Fake Gift Deed Case

An 84-year-old woman, Bharathi Lakshman Reddy, had her land restored after it was fraudulently transferred through a fake gift deed. The properties in Chikkatattamangala village, Devanahalli taluk, were transferred to Shravan Kumar via a forged deed registered at Hoskote Sub-Registrar’s Office on August 13, 2025. Following a Lokayukta inquiry, the impersonator Lakshmi Devamma and Shravan Kumar were arrested, and the land was returned to Bharathi.
