ED Summons Pinarayi Vijayan in CMRL-Exalogic Case; SC Rejects Urgent Plea
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on October 23 regarding unexplained money received by his daughter from a controversial mining firm. This follows a state anti-corruption case against Vijayan. The Supreme Court declined his urgent plea for protection from arrest. The case involves alleged financial transactions worth Rs 278 crore between Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited and Exalogic Solutions, formerly run by Vijayan's daughter.
