ED Issues Fresh Summons to Ex-Minister C Vijayabaskar in Assets Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued fresh summons to former Tamil Nadu health minister C Vijayabaskar regarding an alleged disproportionate assets case. Vijayabaskar, who served from 2016 to 2021 under the AIADMK government, was summoned for the second time. He resigned as MLA after winning the 2026 elections on AIADMK's ticket and later joined Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). He is to appear before the ED next week in Chennai.
