The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Baneet Singh Talwar, brother of Kabir Talwar, a key accused in the 2021 Mundra port drug bust involving 3,000 kg of Afghan heroin worth ₹21,000 crore. Baneet allegedly managed business entities controlled by Kabir after his arrest and funded them with over ₹55 lakhs. Kabir was charged with conspiring with Pakistan’s ISI to smuggle drugs into India.
