ECI Keeps SIR Software Details Confidential; Pistols Found in Shroff Firing
The Election Commission of India has refused to disclose the software name and version used in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls, citing commercial confidentiality and intellectual property under the RTI Act. Meanwhile, Delhi received its first air pollution source data in nearly three years, though a large portion remains unexplained. Additionally, pistols used in the Shroff firing incident were recovered.
