ECI Fact-Checks Claims on Voter Registration Form 6 After SC Remarks

Following Chief Justice Surya Kant's remarks on Form 6 used for voter registration, the Election Commission of India and Press Information Bureau issued fact-checks. The EC had earlier stated the declaration form with Form 6 was upheld by the Supreme Court. However, the CJI clarified no modifications to Form 6 were approved by the court. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of illegally changing Form 6 to benefit BJP.
