The Election Commission of India has extended the deadline for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana, and Nagaland. The final electoral roll publication dates for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have been postponed to November 30. The notice phase and disposal of claims now conclude on November 26 for Telangana and November 20 for Andhra Pradesh, following requests from Chief Electoral Officers.
