EC Demonstrates New ERONET Options for SIR Notice Disposal to EROs

The Election Commission (EC) has introduced new options on its ERONET portal allowing Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) to dispose of notice cases without hearings or documents. These options are currently available in 10 States and Union Territories where the third phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls is ongoing. The EC is explaining these changes through a demonstration video, with no written instructions issued yet.
