EC Allows Previously Enrolled Voters to Submit Form 6 for Inclusion
The Election Commission clarified that voters previously enrolled but missing from draft Special Intensive Revision rolls can submit Form 6 to be included as electors. This follows the Supreme Court's direction not to require 4.3 million Delhi residents, removed from rolls due to address issues, to reapply via Form 6 if they were on the 2026 rolls. Instead, they may restore names using Form 8 or enumeration. The US midterm elections also highlight Indian-origin candidates' growing political presence.
