eBay announced it will cut about 1,000 jobs, roughly nine percent of its workforce, following an initial layoff of 800 employees in February. The company, with 12,300 employees at the end of 2025, said the cuts align teams with strategic priorities. eBay returned to growth in 2025 and recently acquired Depop for $1.2 billion to expand in the secondhand apparel market.
