Driving Licence Address Change May Become Free and Auto-Approved in 30 Days

The Centre has proposed draft amendments to the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, to make changing the address on driving licences free and simplify the process. If the Regional Transport Office (RTO) neither approves nor rejects an address change request within 30 days, it will be automatically approved. The proposal also removes the Rs 200 fee for changing a licence holder's name or other details.

Swiggy's Instamart Losses Hit ₹895 Crore in Q2 Amid Growth Push

Swiggy Ltd reported that its quick-commerce arm Instamart posted adjusted EBITDA losses of ₹895 crore in Q2 FY27, up from ₹849 crore a year earlier.
