ScienceDRDO Tests Indigenous High-Altitude Platform at 21 km
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully flight-tested an indigenously developed High-Altitude Platform Station (HAPS). The platform reached 21 km altitude and maintained 20 km for over 30 minutes before safely returning to ground. The test generated performance data for further development. HAPS are unmanned vehicles operating in the stratosphere, typically 20-50 km above Earth.
