ScienceDRDO Successfully Tests Indigenous High-Altitude Airship at 21 km
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted a flight test of its indigenously developed High Altitude Platform System (HAPS) airship, reaching an altitude of 21 kilometers. The airship demonstrated its ability to sustain long-duration flights in the stratosphere, remaining at about 20 kilometers for over 30 minutes. This achievement strengthens India's aerospace and surveillance capabilities under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
