Dr Reddy’s Laboratories reported a 36% year-on-year profit decline to ₹925 crore in Q2, with consolidated revenue down 1.5% to ₹8,671 crore. The drop was mainly due to lower sales of the blood cancer drug lenalidomide in North America. Excluding lenalidomide, the base business showed double-digit growth. EBITDA was ₹1,783 crore with a 20.6% margin. North America revenue fell 23% to ₹2,489 crore, while emerging markets grew 24% to ₹2,059 crore. The company plans to relaunch semaglutide in November.
