AIIMS Bhopal cautions that neglecting cold symptoms may lead to lung infections and complications. Elderly people infected with Influenza A are also at higher risk of pneumonia complications. Daily, around 150 patients show worsening respiratory symptoms like breathlessness and low oxygen saturation.
