PoliticsDK Shivakumar Opposes PAC Proposal in Karnataka Congress
Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has opposed KPCC president BK Hariprasad's proposal to form a Political Affairs Committee (PAC) aimed at improving coordination between the Congress party and the government. The proposal, supported by Hariprasad and former CM Siddaramaiah, was discussed with AICC general secretary KC Venugopal. It seeks wider consultation on key decisions, highlighted by issues like the Bidadi AI City project facing farmer opposition. The PAC would be headed by Randeep Singh Surjewala, with Hariprasad as convenor and around 30 leaders proposed as members.
