Bollywood actor Dino Morea was arrested by Mumbai Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in connection with a Rs 65.54 crore scam related to the cleaning contracts of the Mithi River. The arrest followed an 8-hour interrogation at his Bandra residence on October 2, 2026. The scam caused significant financial loss to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate had conducted raids at multiple locations, including Morea's home.
