Blast in Ghaziabad During Preparation of Ravana Effigy Injures Five

In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, a blast occurred while preparing Ravana and Kumbhakarna effigies for Dussehra in a community hall at Lajpat Nagar, Sahibabad. The explosion happened around 8:30 AM when firecrackers were being placed inside Ravana's effigy. Five people, including minors, were injured and referred to Delhi hospitals. Police are investigating the incident. The contract for making the effigies was given to Anil Singh from Pilkhuwa.
