Digi Yatra Trials for International Flyers Begin at 7 Airports

The Civil Aviation Ministry announced that Digi Yatra trials for international passengers have started at seven airports: Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Cochin, Mumbai, Chennai, and Amritsar. The facility, using facial recognition technology, is available on a trial basis for Indian nationals with e-passports on select Air India and IndiGo international flights. Feedback from November to December 2024 will guide a wider rollout planned for 2027.
