PoliticsDGCA to Conduct Final Airline Inspections Before US FAA Audit
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will carry out a final round of inspections of all Indian airlines this week ahead of the US Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) audit of India's safety oversight. Previous inspections focused on Air India and Indigo, revealing serious issues that airlines were asked to address. The final inspections will assess operational and safety standards and are expected to conclude by month-end.
