The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has banned the MOBIKINS MK-PB-04 power bank from being carried on flights in India, including cabin, checked baggage, and cargo. This follows a recent fire incident involving the power bank. On October 11, a power bank caught fire on an IndiGo flight, causing an emergency diversion to Hyderabad airport. The DGCA cited safety risks in its September 29 communication.
