In south Bengaluru, a food delivery executive named Nandan allegedly set fire to his lover’s brother-in-law’s motorcycle after she ended their four-month relationship. On October 19, Nandan, intoxicated, demanded the woman come out from her sister’s house. When the family refused and called police, he burned the bike, damaging a neighbor’s vehicle too. Police initially refused to file an FIR.

Paytm Q2 FY27 Profit Jumps 10-Fold to ₹225 Crore, Revenue Up 28%

One 97 Communications Ltd, Paytm's parent company, reported a 10-fold rise in net profit to ₹225 crore in Q2 FY27, up from ₹21 crore a year ago, marking its sixth consecutive profitable quarter.
