Delivery Boy Dies by Suicide After Assault Over Torn Currency in East Delhi

A 24-year-old delivery executive in East Delhi died by suicide on October 20 after allegedly consuming poison a day following his assault by two men over a torn currency note. The victim had recorded a video recounting the incident. The accused, Rakesh alias Bunti (30) and Rampal Singh (65), were arrested. Police added abetment of suicide charges to the case.
