Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Sleeper Train to Launch in 2026

Indian Railways is expanding its facilities by introducing the Vande Bharat Sleeper train on the Delhi-Varanasi route. Following earlier launches of semi-high-speed Vande Bharat trains, the sleeper version will start operations on October 31, 2026, before Diwali and Chhath Puja. The train will run at speeds up to 180 km/h, completing the journey in 4.5 hours. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the service.
