The Delhi Traffic Police announced that traffic movement around Connaught Place will be affected from 3 p.m. on October 16, 2026, due to a proposed rally by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Central Park. The New Delhi Municipal Council also declared Central Park closed to the public on October 16 and 17 for administrative reasons. Security personnel were seen managing the Tiranga March by the All India Students' Federation at Connaught Place.
