Delhi traders have objected to both the INDIA bloc's rally on November 1 and the BJP's 'Save Democracy' march in Chandni Chowk during the Diwali shopping season. The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) appealed to BJP to avoid disruption. BJP assured the protest would last about one and a half hours with only 400 participants, minimizing business impact. BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor emphasized the march's peaceful intent and historical significance of Chandni Chowk.
