The Chamber of Trade & Industry (CTI) chairman Brijesh Goyal stated that Delhi's trading sector suffered losses of ₹10,000 to ₹11,000 crore due to disruptions caused by the INDIA bloc's November 1 rally at Ramlila Maidan. Around 80% of shops, approximately 2.5 to 3 lakh, near the venue remained closed amid panic over the expected 1 million attendees. The CTI had requested postponing the rally until after Diwali due to concerns about shop closures and transport disruptions.
