PoliticsDelhi's 'No PUC, No Fuel' Drive Begins with Cameras but No Officials
On the first day of Delhi's stricter 'No PUC, No Fuel' enforcement, cameras scanned vehicle number plates and automated warnings played at petrol pumps in Janpath and Mayur Vihar Phase 1. While PUC centres were open and technology was operational, no Transport Department enforcement officials were present. The Delhi government had promised enforcement at 500 ANPR-equipped stations, but no teams were seen during NDTV's visit.
