Delhi's MCD Delays Barrier-Free Toll Project; Ghazipur Trials Soon

Delhi Municipal Corporation's multi-lane free-flow (MLFF) toll system, initially set for October 31, has been delayed. Equipment installation is complete at 20 major border points, including Ghazipur, where trials will start within days. The full rollout across all border toll plazas is expected in three to four months. MLFF uses RFID, sensors, and ANPR cameras for barrier-less electronic toll collection, covering 85% of traffic at these points.
