PoliticsDelhi Police Tighten Security at Connaught Place Ahead of INDIA Bloc Protest
Delhi Police increased security at Connaught Place on Thursday before the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc's planned lunch and protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Two police teams and paramilitary forces were deployed near Moets restaurant and K block to secure the area. The Indian Youth Congress also announced a march from Rajghat, with police prepared for possible movement towards Jantar Mantar or the Election Commission office.
