PoliticsDelhi Police Follow Amit Shah's Advanced Plan for Jantar Mantar Protest
On Friday, various political parties and student organizations protested at Delhi's Jantar Mantar demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and halting the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list. Delhi Police managed the protest without using force, following an advanced plan based on past trends and IB inputs, advised by Home Minister Amit Shah. This strategy was also applied during protests in Maharashtra and recommended for other states. Shah emphasized strong internal security as key to India's development by 2047 at the National Security Strategy Conference.
