Delhi Police Files FIR Over Child Sexual Abuse Material on Meta Platforms

Delhi Police’s Special Cell registered an FIR on October 8 regarding the circulation of suspected child sexual abuse material on Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. The FIR was filed under Sections 67 and 67B of the IT Act, 2000, after about 10 links were flagged. The Special Cell is investigating the case, confirmed officials including IFSO Additional CP Sanjay Bhatia and NHRC member Priyank Kanoongo.
